The War of the Creators: Child of Jakrum

Liva’s death should have been the end. Instead, it was the beginning of something far worse. Hawkrin hears her voice in the silence, feels her presence in the sickness that taints his blood. Is it love that binds them, even beyond death? Or has he become something else—something twisted by grief, driven by whispers that blur the line between memory and madness? Revenge might bring him peace… or shatter what little remains of the man he once was.

I didn’t want to write this, but I am a man of my word. I keep my promises. Even when I don’t want to. I don’t like the idea of leaving information like this for anyone to find, interpreting it any way they see fit. We can't be sure if Princess Ke'lina's promised future will come to pass, or if those she's guided will stay on the path she envisions. After all, we still make our own decisions. I think…

Poem by Hawkrin

Behind My Eyes

Endless unyielding and relentless, it devours all I give,

No substance, no pain, can mend the love we once did live.

I've pleaded for forgiveness, for guidance, and for grace,

In return, burdened heavily, with happiness displaced..

Despair lingers on, in the wake of your departure,

relentlessly pursuing the one who took, a cruel captor..

Now toxic, tainted by loss, all that's left is shame,

longing for the one to blame, in this twisted game.

Forever haunted, forever adrift, chasing shadows in the light,

Betrayed by the cost, of love's eternal fight.
